I Scream, Peppermint Twisted

Why screaming ice cream? Would you believe that this Portland hang out has a dark past? If you look closely you can find evidence: a gravestone on the property. Long ago, before it was an ice cream cafe, this site was a native American village. After that it was the site of a headstone carving company. When they made mistakes those mistakes were craved in stone. To hide their mistakes, they tossed them in the Grand River next to the property. One of those headstones was fished out and stands on the site of the cafe, a reminder of this sites hidden past.
