Beverlo Kapelletje Molenaarstraat

Once this chapel stood opposite of the homestead Dams in "Eindeken". In 1969 it was moved to its current address. Anno 1948 Isidore ('dorke') Vandermeeren bricked the chapel, it was commissioned by the family Dams...and Isidore based it on a model he had seen in Beringen. This chapel was erected to replace a crumbling stone alcove chapel. Once moved this chapel was adorned with an iron arch, with electric lights. That decoration has disappeared now.
