Eyres of Chesterfield 1875-2013 Isaac Eyres started trading from his first shop in 1875 and moved to the present premises on Holywell Street, Chesterfield a few years later. Located 200 yards behind the iconic crooked spire of Chesterfield Parish Church. From these humble beginnings Eyres grew into one of the largest furniture retailers in the Midlands.
