Saratoga 1777 British Redoubt

To commemorate the services of lieutenant John Hardin of Morgan's Rifle Corps who led a successful reconnaissance Sept 18, 1777. Who also distinguished himself in the battles fought on this ground Sept 19 and Oct 7 and whom his commanding officer wrote 'A braver soldier never lived - a better man has rarely died.
