Dr. Eli Teegarden was the first owner of this historic house on Plum as St. He traveled to Yuba City during the gold rush from Ohio in 1850. The house has served as a boarding house for soldiers and a mortuary in the 1930's, until bought by the former mayor of Yuba City, Perry Mosburg, when it became a boarding house for soldiers from Camp Beale.
