A sculpture by Albert Payley, 2009, located in front of the Clay Center, Lee Street and Leon Sullivan Way. The artist, Albert Paley, has completed many works of public art, including the portal gates in the Renwick Gallery of the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, DC. He was the first artist to receive honors by the American Institute of Architects (AIA), the most prestigious award given by the organization to a non architect.
