Fat's Asia Bistro

Roseville, United States

The unique architecture of this restaurant was inspired by the post and beam structure of ancient temples across Asia. Designed by BCV architects of San Francisco, it mixes the classical designs of China with a European bistro setting. Inside, palm trees accentuate the main floor while dragon and phoenix artwork adorns the walls. The wall that encompasses the patio mimics China's Great Wall. Frank Fat opened his first restaurant in Sacramento in 1939. Since that time, the Fat family has been a big part of the business community for the greater Sacramento area. Fat's Asia Bistro in Roseville opened in 2000, and expanded to Folsom in 2005.
