Local snowball (shaved ice) place that has been open and family operated since 1939. This stand has been recognied with the "American Classic Award" by the James Beard Foundation. The ice shaving machines were handmade and designed by original stand owner Ernest Hansen. All flavors are handmade and most were concocted by Ernest's wife Mary. The stand is now owned and operated by Mary's and Ernest's granddaughter Ashley. It's open after Easter and closed after Labor Day.
