Effects of the Long Range Gun

This painting depicts the aftermath of shelling that damaged the church of St. Gervais in Paris France. The new long range weapon had a range of 75 miles, and killed 88 people and injured 63 others. This painting was donated to the San Diego - Imperial county chapter of the American red cross by the Smithsonian National museum. Artist Hugo Rosenfield 1919
