James Armitstead Monument

This childrens memorial hospital was founded by Riga city mayor James Armistead. His head statue is on the building with golden like sign of his name. During the years of his service Riga developed into a modern and developed city of the beginning of the XX century, receiving first ever in the city hospital meant specifically for children, marking a raise in quality of living here.
