South East Regional Centre for Urban Landcare (SERCUL), the region's centre for management of local natural resources. The centre is located in the historic Yule Brooke Homestead, an area significant in both Nyoongar and European history. The centre is open to individuals and groups with an interest in the environment who would like to drop in for a look or participate in local projects. SERCUL is a unique organisation in the area, undertaking a number of environmental management and restoration projects and coordinating volunteer projects with other community groups.
