Monument to 9/11/01 Solar Noon Calendar

This sculpture made from Indiana limestone and welded steel is a memorial to the attack on the World Trade Center on September 11th 2001 the memorial is a solar calendar position for solar noon on Sept 11th of each year on that date at solar noon which will change each year because of varying number of minutes in one day and because of daylight savings time, the shadow of the stylist will line up horizontally and vertically on the rock face.
