Francis Lookout

Among the original settlers of this area was the Francis family who in 1862 purchased 21 acres including Francis Lookout, a now local heritage listed landmark. Francis Lookout survives to this day, and includes a small burial ground opened in 1862. Its ten graves include those of some of the pioneer settlers and has breathtaking views of the city and Mount Coot-tha
