A simple "English village" style brick Episcopal Church was consecrated on the spot on September 19, 1863. The present gothic structure designed by Erle Stillwell was begun in 1916 and completed in 1968. The church is noted for its architecture, stained glass, Harrison & Harrison organ and the change ringing bell tower
