Abandoned Church

Known locally as "Chapel House", this building, despite having a spire, has never been a church. In the 1770s a spire was added to the cottage here to make the view from the recently constructed Danson House more interesting. The large stone in the garden, some believe to be a tombstone, is actually a cover for an old well.
