Dolwin Lego Model

Dolwind Beta is Aibel's first wind converter platform. It is a semi submersible built for a large wind farm cluster in the German sector of the North Sea. It has a capacity of 924 MW and it is 70 metres tall, 74 metres wide and 99 metres long. This LEGO model however consists of approximately 50.000 bricks and is at display inside in the reception area of Aibels main office (publicly available from 8:00 to 16:00 on working days.) The LEGO model was designed by Lasse Norlemann Mathiesen (Maritime Colours) and built by Matija Puzar for Aibels stand to the 2012 version of Offshore Northern Seas.
