SKF Main Entrance

SKF, Svenska kullagerfabriken, former headquarters. HK 1, Ernst Krüger 1913, built with 4 floors with a facade in yellow brick and a steep hipped roof with clay tiles and steel details. It is built in jugend style, which is reflected in both the disposition of the windows and the decorated stone works around the entrance and below the bay windows. The interior is well preserved, including the directors floor where wood panels, doors and ventilation grilles are all intact. The stairwell is also preserved with decorated tiles on floor and walls. On the directors floor an old telephone kiosk is still preserved although with a new use as a bathroom.
