Toynbee Tile

Very old example of Toynbee Idea tiles, a few blocks from the alleged tiler's home. These visionary tilea appear embedded in streets all over the world, but most famously in Philadelphia since the 1980's where they are believed to have originated. Since then a myriad of tile stiles have appeared (including a few copycats) but this is definitely an original, known as the "postcard style" due to its small size and single color.
