UIC's baseball home, Les Miller Field, was completed in the spring of 1996 with the first official game, taking place on May 4, 1996 against the Wright State Raiders. The field is named after former baseball coach, Les Miller, who coached at UIC for 31 years, from 1949-1979, and compiled over 500 wins and numerous championships and tournament titles.
