Augusta Kayak Launch

Commissioned in 1999 as a result of ownership of the Kennebec River Dam's ownership returning to the state of Maine, this small park just above the river rapids features a walking path, easy access to a small island and a variety of wildlife, from loons to salmon leaping in the river.
