Saint Margaret of Antioch Church

This church is the site where St. Frideswide is said to have cured Algar Prince of Mercia of blindness with water from the well of St. Margaret of Antioch. Later Lewis Carroll made reference to this as the treacle well (treacle being a word that meant heading fluid).
