St. Bartholomew Church

It was only a small, one level chapel and, eventually, due to poor and cramped conditions, building of the new church started in 1872, and it was opened somewhat prematurely in 1877 in an unfinished state.  The congregation had to wait until 1903 for the tower to be added so that we have the Gothic style architectural building that you see today.
