Zagrebačka Katedrala

History of its existence on that site starts at turn of the 11th century with construction of the first church in Romanesque style. In the course of its turbulent history, it lived through three great fires, two destructions in wars and one earthquake; it was expanded five times, reconstructed two times, once even completely rebuild, in Romanesque, Early Gothic, Late Gothic and Neo-Ghotic styles. As some reconstructions ladted several centuries, the reconstructed parts were built in distinctly different styles.
