Wollaston beach was created when the Metropolitan Park Commission built a roadway along the shore of Quincy Bay St the beginning of the 20th century. Three smaller beaches were joined together along the new boulevard. Wollaston beach offers an improved seawall and walkway that makes it perfect for walkers, joggers, and cyclists, as well as for beach recreation.
