Wasps

Now the home to the wasps artist's studios, this building started life as a cigarette factory of Stephen Mitchell & Son in around 1830.  On his death, Mitchell left a bequest to the city, which was used to build the Mitchell Library at Charing Cross, now the largest public reference library in Europe.
